URI, Yuck!
Well, if there's anyone still reading this blog, I'm sure they've given up on it being updated by now considering I haven't posted anything since mid-September. Unfortunately, I got hit with an Upper Respiratory Infection at the end of September and it's just now finally going away. Those things really can linger. I spent my first weekend sick in bed watching the closing ceremonies at the final regular season game at the old Busch Stadium.
If you read my previous post, you know that I attended the Cardinals game on September 13 and that I posted a photo I took with my digital camera binoculars. I also took pictures using my 35 mm Canon Sure Shot, the camera that accompanied me all through Europe in June '92 and in Spain in July '94. As you can see, it still takes pretty good pictures.
Since my last post, another opportunity to attend a Cardinals game fell into my lap. I was lucky enough to get to see the October 13th playoff game. Unfortunately, we lost. Even more unfortunately, we lost tonight's game. It really just breaks my heart.
I took pictures at that game and I'll see how my digital photos turned out. If any of them are clear enough, I'll post them in my next post. Despite the loss, I feel fortunate that I was able to see a playoff game and say another good-bye to Busch.
